ABOUT ME

Sheenette Milns BSc (Hons) Acupuncture, MBAcC

I trained at The Northern College of Acupuncture in York where I gained a BSc in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture which included training in both Cupping and Moxa. I am a fully accredited and registered with The British Acupuncture Council

Having been interested in Holistic Therapies from a young age, I have worked in this field for since 2005, specialising in Reflexology and Massage. I also trained in Beauty Therapy in 2007 which lead me to owning my own Holistic and Beauty Salon in the Lake District. There I trained to Master Level in reiki, an ancient Chinese Healing Therapy, Hopi Ear Candling and Hypnotherapy.

Since moving to the North East in 2011 I have owned Beacon Hill Spa near Morpeth where I have continued to enhance my skills and knowledge. After becoming interested in Chinese Acupuncture whilst having treatment for recurrent migraines I decided to train in acupuncture as the personal benefits I gained were life-changing for me. Not only has acupuncture freed me from Migraines, it has also taken me off strong painkillers after a back injury and stopped my acid reflux and digestive issues.

I am passionate about enhancing the quality of your life whether it is migraine relief, menopausal symptoms, pain relief, digestive issues, depression, or simply relieving the stress of day to day life.

As each Acupuncture case is diagnosed on a very personal basis, each patient will be treated individually and I may use a variety of methods alongside Acupuncture where appropriate including Remedial Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Gua Sha, Cupping and Hopi Ear Candles and Reiki, each of which would be discussed during your personal treatment to give you the best holistic outcome.

Having worked in the Beauty industry for so long, I decided to train in Facial Enhancement Acupuncture, a treatment which can naturally increase collagen production and skin elasticity, as well as helping to balance the body internally leaving you feeling great!
